M23 rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo are vowing to march on the capital, Kinshasa, after making further advances in the east of the country. The armed group M23 is backed by Rwanda and recently captured most of the eastern provincial capital of Goma. The UN says it is ‘deeply concerned’ over the group’s advance to the south.
