"There’s a lot of misconceptions about who gets paid low wages. And one of the biggest one is that these are all high school kids earning that. And actually, most of the low wage workers, including fast food workers, are adults and most of them are the main provider in their families and are supporting families."

"Being a mother, I do what I’m supposed to do for my kids, and I know my children feel like you always at work. You’re never here. But most of the time, if I’m here, I’m just resting. The only time TiAnna Yeldell has to herself is when she’s sleeping, and that doesn’t happen much.
