Babies in the Third World are dying because their mothers are feeding them with western-style infant milk. This was a main conclusion of a report published by the British charity "War on Want". It has sparked a major international controversy in which baby-food companies stand accused of promoting their products in communities where squalor and ignorance make their use unsafe. In this film, shot in the Philippines, we look at the issues and talk to a paediatrician, a company nurse and an executive of a baby-food distribution company.
