Israel launched a series of raids in the occupied West Bank soon after the ceasefire in Gaza between Hamas and Israel took effect. At least 12 Palestinians have been killed so far, the UN said, and many more have been forced to evacuate their homes. Israel’s military says it is searching for Iran-backed militants in the Jenin refugee camp, a longtime flashpoint in the conflict.
