Trump Denies Entry to Afghan Refugees Who Helped Military

Thousands of refugees already cleared by the American government to resettle in the US have had their flights canceled as the Trump administration suspends refugee programs. That number includes almost 1,660 Afghans who helped the US military and nearly 200 relatives of active duty military personnel. Advocates of this program say that ending it puts the lives of the Afghans who helped the American military, journalists, and social activists in danger.
