STORYLINE:
Crowd gathered at a restaurant in Washington D.C. to watch the inauguration ceremony on the screen. Supporters packed inside Carmine’s erupted in cheers several times as Trump made his inauguration speech.
Several people stood outside watching the screens through windows. Many said despite their disappointment that the ceremony has been moved indoor that they were happy to be part of the historical day.
In the words of one supporter, Joe Harkins, "It feels like Christmas Day. It feels like I’m eight years old and Santa Claus just came."
