Ever since he went down the escalator in 2016 I have been by his side, 3 election wins and I am excited to see his second inauguration today. Coming from Ohio, all around the state to see the president. Six of us are here and we can’t wait to see it."

STORYLINE:
Long lines stretched around the icy sidewalks and security perimeters of Capital One Arena where ticket holders hoped to be among the 20,000 to get in.

Josh Lickliter, 18-year-old, first time voter from London, Ohio, with five other family members arrived in front of the area before the sun rise. He said they were excited to part of the celebration and hope that the president will tackle inflation as his priority.

Debbie Cerone and Sophie Cerone traveled from Boston and said they hope to get inside. Sophie Cerone said, as a college student, mshe is hoping the president will help lower the education cost and housing.

Debbie Kim from New York with her friends said she was attended the 2016 inauguration ceremony but felt that the atmosphere around the city wasn’t as positive as this time around.
