Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin also talked about deepening their strategic relationship – something that worries the West and could pose a challenge to Trump as he starts his second term in office. As China and Russia already have a ‘no limits’ President Xi wants to take ties with Putin to ‘new heights’ this year, what new heights can this partnership reach?
