President Donald Trump has declared that the US will officially only recognize two genders, male and female. Trump supporters are applauding his move, but for others, it is raising serious concerns about trans rights and medical care.
DW spoke to Maria Sjödin from OutRight Action International, an NGO that focuses on LGBTQ rights, about how Trump’s rollback of gender rights protections will impact members of the LGBTQ community.
