STORYLINE:
A theatre festival in Chile presented audiences with a puppet show featuring a seven-metre-tall wicker sculpture.

Teatro a Mil Festival hosted a performance by the French company l’Homme Debout which featured a huge puppet called “Mo and the red jacket”.

The company specialises in works featuring giant sculptured puppets.

The outdoor show followed Mo, a boy fleeing war on an imaginary journey.

As he dreams of family and birthdays, a nightmare wakes him, releasing a red ribbon across the city in a tale of hope and resilience.

Free to the public, the show was well appreciated by the audience.

“This is a wonderful activity, being able to see this kind of art here, for free to everyone its unmatchable” said Cristian Cano who came along to watch.
