2. SOUNDBITE (English) Joseph Cammarata, Attorney for Rudy Giuliani:
"The mayor statement verbatim, as requested by my client. I have reached a resolution of the litigation with the plaintiffs that will result in a satisfaction of the plaintiffs judgment. This resolution does not involve an admission of liability or wrongdoing of any of the parties. I am satisfied with and have no grievances relating to the result we have reached. I have been able to retain my New York co-op and Florida condominium and all of my personal belongings. No one deserves to be subjected to threats, harassment or intimidation. This litigation has taken its toll on all the parties. This whole episode was unfortunate. I and the plaintiffs have agreed not to talk about each other in any defamatory manner, and I urge others to do the same. What I’m going to do is I’m going to refer you to the statement that."

STORYLINE:
A settlement has been reached resolving whether Rudy Giuliani can keep his Florida condominium and three World Series rings following a $148 million judgment against him.
Lawyers in the case notified the court by letter on Thursday that a deal was reached.
Giuliani had been scheduled to testify in the morning in Manhattan federal court at a trial to decide whether he must give the assets to two former Georgia election workers.
Giuliani didn’t come to court. In the last week, the 80-year-old former New York City mayor has been found in contempt of court for failing to provide information about some assets and for continuing to speak disparagingly about the election workers.
