3. SOUNDBITE (English) Chief Darin Schierbaum, Atlanta Police Department:
"We need Atlantans and we need visitors from Ohio and visitors from Indiana and wherever you’re from to do something for us. If you see something, say something. A vehicle, if an individual, if a package does not look right, call 911. Flag down one of the individuals in uniform that you will see around. And I want to implore everyone, if you see a posting on social media of someone that is threatening harm, you have a duty and obligation as a citizen to report that to law enforcement. So it’s just that see something, say something around you when you’re in downtown Atlanta. If you see something online, there’s someone saying they’re going to harm this event or bring harm to our country, report that right away."

5. SOUNDBITE (English) Chief Darin Schierbaum, Atlanta Police Department:
"And so when we look at New Orleans, we look around the globe, we do look at how the attacks have been carried out before and how it can be replicated here. So whether it’s vehicle borne, a person with a gun, a personal bomb, we have worked very hard to take all of that in consideration. We communicate daily with the GBI and the FBI and Homeland Security. Some information we have that is known only the law enforcement. Some is with the items you have, but again, I want to reemphasize this: As we prepare for copycats, or an original attack here, we need citizens, because we know that videos were posted in New Orleans before that was carried out. We always say, see something, say something about cars and people and objects, online see something, say something is just as important, ladies and gentlemen."
