A woman’s escape from a wildfire was halted by a boulder that may have been a blessing in disguise. Patty Phillips says she felt the fire closing in on her home in Malibu, so she got her dog Koda in her car and they made their getaway, but it wasn’t easy driving down a hill in those smoky conditions. No matter what she did, the car wouldn’t budge. She tells KCBS all she could do was call for help and wait. Inside Edition Digitalās Mara Montalbano has more.
