STORYLINE:
Relatives mourned the loss of their loved ones on Thursday after Israeli airstrikes killed over 20 Palestinians across the Gaza Strip.
Some gathered at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital to pray over the bodies of eight policemen killed in Deir al-Balah, killed while securing humanitarian aid convoys.
Elsewhere, the Israeli army killed five policemen in east Khan Younis in a strike, and three Palestinians were killed in a separate Israeli strike that hit a group of people walking in the street in Maghazi.
Their bodies were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.
At least 10 more people were killed earlier Thursday morning due to an Israeli airstrike in southern Gaza. Those killed included 3 children and 2 senior police officers.
