1. Street junction as siren sounds UPSOUND Sirens
STORYLINE:
Sirens went off across central Israel, including Tel Aviv, late on Monday after the military intercepted a missile fired from Yemen.
“Sirens were sounded due to the possibility of falling shrapnel from the interception,” the military added.
There were no reports of injuries, according to Magen David Adom emergency services.
The Iranian-backed Houthi rebels have launched scores of missiles and drones at Israel throughout the war.
Israel has carried out airstrikes in Yemen in response and has vowed to step up the pressure on the rebel group.
