Thousands turned out to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks in India’s financial capital of Mumbai as clocks ticked over into 2025 in South Asia.
Crowds gathered along the city’s Marine Drive for a view of the colorful explosions in the sky.
"I hope people live together and spread happiness," said Dilip Kumar Yadav who came to Mumbai to watch the celebrations.
