Behold Methuselah! It’s a Great Basin bristlecone pine tree that lives in California’s White Mountains. And it’s lived there for over 4800 years! That makes it possibly the oldest tree in the world. It’s named after the biblical figure Methuselah, who was said to be 900 years old. Say what you will, we don’t think it looks a day over 4,000!
