The suspected driver of the Cybertruck that exploded in Las Vegas outside of the Trump International Hotel on New Year’s Day sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head prior to the blast, police said.
An Army spokesperson said the suspect was a Green Beret on leave. Investigators believe the explosion was intentional, but hadn’t determined a motive or how it was detonated as of Thursday afternoon, according to sources.
