Once you know who you are, how hard is it to stick to those things? And how tempting it is to maybe even go back to the way things were. So, wait until you see what Cynthia’s got in her back pocket for for Elphaba. It is profound. It is beautiful. I can’t wait for people to see it."

"I wouldn’t say it influenced it or in terms of changing everything. I will say that it’s nice to know that people are paying attention to all the details. Sometimes when you make a movie, you don’t think people are really paying attention too much. So knowing that and all the little breadcrumbs we left and all the fun Easter eggs. I get to put a little more care into some of that and maybe add a few extra things that we have up our sleeves and it gives me a lot of confidence to just keep going in that direction."
