STORYLINE:
Thousands of people gathered in New Taipei City Wednesday evening to enjoy the Christmas lights and various illuminated shows.
It’s considered to be a a major annual attraction for locals in northern Taiwan.
The Christmas light show is held every year outside Government’s Civic Plaza.
Residents took pictures and videos with the lights while others watched in awe.
The decorations included big illuminated stars and a sparkly purple Christmas tree.
The light show, which was intricate and full of color, delighted watchers, especially children.
