Israel has carried out a series of airstrikes in Yemen, hitting targets including the international airport in the capital, Sanaa, where people ran for cover.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the raids were part of a campaign of retaliation – which was only just starting – for recent strikes on Israel by Yemen’s Houthi fighters, who are backed by Iran.
It’s reported that at least two people were killed at the international airport. The port of Hudayda was also hit – along with other sites described by Israel as "military targets".
