“Today we have the numerals that have come down from the building for the public to take photos with. They’re going to be out for the next four days. And we encourage people between now and Sunday night to come out here, get your photo, make a great holiday card if you’re looking to do that last minute. When you look up at One Times Square and you see the ball, you see the numbers, they don’t look that big, but they’re imposing. They’re seven feet tall. Collectively, these things weigh 1,200 pounds, 620 nine-watt bulbs that light them up and you’re basically able to get up close and personal or almost touch them.”

STORYLINE:
On Wednesday, the seven-foot-tall numerals for "2025" arrived on Times Square’s Broadway Plaza between 46th and 47th Streets, marking the countdown to the New Year.
The numerals, illuminated with 620 LED bulbs, will remain on display for public photos until December 23.
After that, they will be mounted atop One Times Square for New Year’s Eve.
