Verdicts are expected in the Gisèle Pelicot mass rape trial in France. People have been gathering outside the court in Avignon to show solidarity with Ms Pelicot. Her ex-husband has already pleaded guilty to drugging and raping his wife over nearly ten years. 50 more men are on trial, accused of rape and sexual assault. For many, Gisele Pelicot has become a feminist hero for choosing a public trial and standing up to her alleged aggressors in court.
