STORYLINE:
Greek firefighters delivered presents to sick children at Athens’ main children’s hospital Thursday evening.
One member of the Greater Athens Fire Service dangled from a fire engine crane as he brought Christmas gifts to young cancer patients at the Agia Sofia hospital.
Other firefighters dressed with festive hats, scaled the hospital building exterior to hand out presents to children unable to make it outside.
Deputy Greek Minister of Health Marios Themistocleous labelled it a "beautiful pre-Christmas event."
