A man is being questioned about the fatal shooting of a healthcare insurance boss in New York Citylast week, officials have told the BBC’s partner CBS News.
UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was killed in what police called a "brazen, targeted attack" last Wednesday, outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.
The search for the unnamed individual has spanned across multiple states.
Police found what they believe is the suspect’s backpack in New York’s Central Park, and have sent the bag for forensic testing.
