All tapes 5 mins approx
Tape One
1. Sit down interview with Cameron Diaz. Including soundbites:
"You know, I think that when you’re kids, you know, it’s part of battling out those moments where you kind of have to define yourselves within relationships, you know. You have that with your sister, with your brother – it’s like, ‘No, it’s mine!’ (laughs) You know, that’s how you build your character as you go through life and I think the relationships you have with your siblings really sort of define the relationships you’re going to have later in life and my sister luckily was like an angel. She was sent to be my sister for a reason because I don’t think anybody else could have handled it (laughs)."
"Well, I think I’m really lucky because I have a really great family. I’m really grounded with my family and my friends and you know, I was fortunate enough to have that upbringing and to be given a lot of confidence as a child. So I think just being grounded is important. Money and fame doesn’t do anything for you (laughs), doesn’t make you happy. You know, you have to be happy within yourself and that’s where you get your true power, I think."
"I try to go with my instinct and wherever I’m at in that time in my life is how I make those decisions, it’s like ‘Okay, what do I feel like?’ When this script came along, I really thought it would be awesome to tell that story and be a part of that film, so that’s why I hooked up with it."
Tape Two
1. Sit down interview with Shirley MacLaine. Including soundbite:
"I learned what it must be like to live with constant scrutiny, namely Cameron and the paparrazzi. Oh my God! That was…I mean she would come in every day and talked about how hard it was to get to work. I learned that also from Jennifer Aniston and from Nicole Kidman. These kids have a dimension to their lives that I never experienced and that’s really tough."
Tape Three
1. Sit down interview with Toni Collette. Including soundbite:
"Oh we became pretty close, we had a lot of fun together. I think that as you see in the film, sisters have a pretty special relationship, so I think we emulated it pretty well in the movie and we became good buddies but I don’t know, it’s so funny…I think I’ll always have that kind of…Rose has this protective feeling for Maggie and I actually feel like I’m always going to have that for Cameron, it’s somehow built in now."
Tape Four
1. Sit down interview with Curtis Hanson
