South Korean president ‘truly sorry’, says he won’t seek to impose martial law again

South Korean President President Yoon Suk Yeol on Saturday said he was “truly sorry” for causing public anxiety with his declaration of martial law earlier in the week. Yoon issued the apology in a brief televised address ahead of a parliamentary vote on a motion to impeach him.
