“These military operations came under tremendous popular pressure. This pressure began years ago and has continued to escalate steadily due to the increase in attacks by the Assad regime and its supporters, the alleged sectarian and terrorist militias from Iran, and cross-border terrorist organizations that targeted civilians in the liberated areas and civilian facilities using airstrikes, artillery and missile shelling, and aerial drones, which reached 52 raids in one day last month.”

“This military operation had specific and clear objectives from the beginning. The first objective was to stop the attacks on the liberated areas and deter the aggression. We all know that there is only one way to stop these attacks, which depends primarily on liberating the areas from which these attacks are launched. The second objective was to liberate the areas occupied by the alleged sectarian militias of Iran, the separatist militias and the regime.”

“The main goal of this military operation is to achieve peace and stability in Syria, but to achieve that, and as long as we see that the regime does not respond to the demands of the people, this military operation will continue. We will liberate our lands, and we will restore the rights of the Syrian people, all the Syrian people, with all their sects and all their components.”
