A jury awarded $310 million to the family of a teen who fatally fell from a Florida ride. Tyree Sampson fell 70 feet to his death. Sampson stood 6-foot-5 and weighed 380 pounds. The family’s attorney says height and weight restrictions were ignored at the park in Orlando. The verdict was against the company that manufactured the ride and it did not send a representative to appear in court. The late teen’s family sees that as a big slap in the face.
