They have the instruments, if they want, to stop the atrocities, they can cancel bilateral commercial deals or give sanctions. They have to discuss state terrorism and the arrest warrant that the International Criminal Court gave to Netanyahu and Gallant. They could speak about the future, maybe they could discuss an exit strategy for the war in Ukraine and for all the other forbidden wars. We are here for this”.

There are more than 56 (wars) and all the exploited people (around the world). We are here to say stop, stop with the dominance of weapons, we demand a ceasefire everywhere but the peace must be made with justice, not a peace created by deaths and cemeteries, with justice and freedom and auto determination for all the people. It’s a shame that we still give weapons, if you arm, you destroy.”

STORYLINE:
Peace activists demanded action for a ceasefire in Gaza and Ukraine during the final day of meetings of the G7 Foreign Ministers in Fiuggi, Italy on Tuesday.
The group stood on the side of the road holding signs saying "ceasefire" and waved rainbow peace flags in the small town a few hours from Rome.
“We can no longer tolerate the genocide in Gaza, the war in Ukraine and Russia, and all the wars in the world,” said Luisa Morgantini, president of the association “AssoPace Palestina” and former vice president of the European Parliament.
“We are here to say stop, stop with the dominance of weapons, we demand a ceasefire everywhere,” she added.
Foreign ministers from the world’s leading industrialized nations expressed cautious optimism on Monday about possible progress on a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
A ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon was foremost on the agenda of the G7 meeting that gathered ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, in the last G7 encounter of the Biden administration.
The top diplomats met for the final time before a new U.S. administration takes office with wars raging in the Mideast and Ukraine.
