STORYLINE:
Tens of thousands of Yemenis joined a recurring demonstration in Sanaa on Friday to show solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the Lebanese people.
Protesters burnt the U.S. and Israeli flags at the end of the protest while chanting anti-American and anti-Israeli slogans.
Dr. Ali Al-Yafie, Minister of Culture and Tourism, said the Yemeni targeting of ships in the Red Sea will continue as long as fighting persists in the Gaza Strip.
The Houthis rebels continue their monthslong assault targeting shipping through the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden over the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza and Israel’s ground offensive in Lebanon.
