STORYLINE:
Several dozen activists marched in silence outside the halls where delegates were meeting at the COP29 climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, raising and crossing their arms to indicate rejection of a draft deal released Friday.
Kirtana Chandrasekaran, of Friends of the Earth International, said her organization rejected the draft text because it does not provide enough money for developing countries most impacted by the effects of climate change.
Negotiators are expected to work on another version of their text through Friday evening and into the morning in Baku, Azerbaijan, where the U.N. climate talks officially ended earlier today.
