A TikTok creator with 300,000 followers was arrested for shoplifting at a Target store, police in Cape Coral, Florida say. The suspect, Marlena Velez, scanned false barcodes with cheaper prices at the self check-out line, according to investigators, making off with about $500 worth of merchandise. When police shared a photo online of the suspect, an anonymous caller identified her as Velez. At closer look, police say she posted about that shopping trip online, but the video has since been taken down. Inside Edition Digital has more.
