AP is live outside a court in Van Nuys, California, for a hearing on the Menendez brothers case. Inside, a judge will hear a petition from the attorneys of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who are currently serving life sentences for the 1989 shotgun murders of their parents in their Beverly Hills home.
The hearing is expected to concern a request to review new evidence not presented at trial.
