STORYLINE:
Smoke was seen rising in the distance near Haifa, Israel, following projectile launches from the direction of Lebanon on Friday.
In a statement, the Israeli military said "following the sirens that sounded between 09:01 and 09:02 in the Haifa Bay and Upper Galilee areas, approximately five projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon into Israel. Some of the projectiles were intercepted and a fallen projectile was identified in the area."
