Arthur Frommer, a pioneer in the world of travel guides, has died. In 1957, Frommer published "Europe on $5 a Day," giving frugal tips and tricks to adventurous Americans. Frommer gave up his law career to help democratize travel for people of all income levels. Even as $5 a day was no longer feasible, he worked to find clean accommodations and delicious food at attainable prices. Arthur Frommer was 95 years old.
