Air Force veteran Babs Ludikhuize shares her story about joining the military, her path to homelessness and how she eventually found her way to a home with U.S.VETS. As she recovers from her own traumas, Babs helps other veterans find healing as a peer support specialist through programs at U.S.VETS and the Department of Veterans Affairs. U.S.VETS serves veterans like Babs every day, housing more than 5,500 veterans a night across the nation and fostering dignity and independence.
