Fox News host Pete Hegseth, nominated to be defense secretary, was once investigated over a sexual assault allegation. A police report obtained by Inside Edition says the alleged sexual assault happened in 2017. The woman who claims Hegseth victimized her did not go to the police until four days after she said she was assaulted. Police say they are keeping all other details of the investigation confidential. Hegseth’s attorney tells Inside Edition, "He was cleared of any wrongdoing."
