Sotheby’s is auctioning off an ancient stone tablet inscribed with the Ten Commandments, estimated to be about 3000 years old. The auction house describes the 115-pound artifact as "An extraordinary treasure from antiquity, inscribed with the moral code that underpins Western civilization." It’s expected to fetch over a million dollars at the gavel. Visitors to Sotheby’s in New York can see it for themselves, starting December 5.
