The satirical website The Onion has purchased InfoWars’ website, customer lists and inventory, and certain social media accounts at bankruptcy auction.
InfoWars founder Alex Jones was sued for defamation by families associated with the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
The families said the purchase would put an end to Jones’ misinformation campaign.
