Experts and aid organizations have expressed concern over the long-term effects of Israel’s war on children’s development and mental health. According to the Lebanese health ministry, Israeli strikes have killed 2,600 and displaced 1.2 million in the past seven weeks. Israel’s air campaign and subsequent ground invasion in the south of Lebanon have created a humanitarian crisis throughout the country. Israel’s army says it is conducting strikes on Hezbollah’s infrastructure.
