"We have 130 beehives in Wiltshire, and then we have 8 million bees that live in our beehives. And those are all part of Beeble. And we take the honey from them and infuse it into our spirits."

"It’s all to do with a magical flower called the butterfly pea flower, native to Southeast Asia and parts of Thailand. And what the pea flower does is it gives our gin PH indicating properties. There’s a little bit of science that we have magic in nature. We soak the petals in the gin after it’s distilled, and that gives it this nice blue colour. And what it then does is anything that comes into contact with it that’s acidic or alkaline will give it a different colour change."

"It’s becoming popular, it’s not as it is in United States, which is really popular. We thought it was going to be something like over there. People are getting used to it or getting to know it. I find the culture is still that tequila is something that you use just to get drunk fast and for young people. But in Mexico, we see it as a fine whisky you would see here."

With Christmas around the corner, these festive tipples are sure to raise a cheer.

STORYLINE:

There’s a buzz at this year’s Spirit of Christmas fair in London.

Whisky, tequila, vodka, and rum — all crafted using honey from bees in Wiltshire.

Beeble, the company behind the drinks, has over one hundred hives.

Their bees feed on wildflower meadows, and the honey they produce is infused into their spirits.

Cummings has a few suggestions on how to enjoy their innovative products this festive season.
