1. Explosion in Ghobeiry suburb, smoke rising ++CONTINUOUS SHOT++
STORYLINE:
An Israeli airstrike on a suburb in Lebanon’s capital Beirut levelled a building to the ground on Tuesday.
The Israeli military’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued a warning before the strike, saying Israel will hit two buildings which they said are Hezbollah warehouses or have assets for the militant group.
The building was located in Ghobeiry, a busy area with lots of traffic just across the street from a large park where many displaced people seek shelter.
The French ambassador’s residence is also nearby.
No casualties were immediately reported.
