Let’s take a quick look back at this day in history. October 23rd, 2001, Steve Jobs, Apple introducing to the masses the iPod music player. It was the company’s first venture into the world of handheld electronics. And no, the Newton does not count. The iPod was a truly portable stand alone device, a device that would lay the foundation for the iPhone four, the Apple Watch for AirPods, and the wide array of mobile products that now dominate Apple’s lineup.
