As pop culture grew and really became mainstream, like anime has become huge over the past few years in the mainstream market. And this is incredible that I’ll be here in the same space at the same time and seeing, you know, what everyone’s wearing, seeing everyone having fun, just being part of this whole thing, it’s amazing.”

STORYLINE:
Cosplayers from galaxies near and far are coming to New York City this weekend for New York Comic Con.
The annual pilgrimage by fans of comic books, fantasy movies and Anime kicked off Thursday at the The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
“A lot of people save up all year to come here just for these four days,” Prinzivalli said.
