STORYLINE:
Defence ministers from NATO member states gathered in Brussels on Friday for a second day of talks.
Newly appointed Secretary-General Mark Rutte chaired the two-day meeting for the first time where ministers have been discussing global issues including the war in Ukraine.
Rutte said the Alliance was "significantly stepping up" support for Ukraine for its defence now and into the future.
He also highlighted plans to boost defence industrial capacity, production and supply chains across the Alliance.
The comments were made Friday morning before the session continued behind closed doors.
