STORYLINE:
Early in-person voting has started this week in most of the country for the U.S. general election.
In Louisiana, St. Tammany Parish started preparation Thursday.
Video shows election officials wheeling in Dominion voting monitors where voters can insert their personalized voting card and place their votes.
Close to two-thirds of all ballots for the November 2020 election were cast early because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Four years later, election officials expect more in-person voters compared to 2020.
Early voting in Louisiana extends from Friday, October 18 to October 29th but there’s no early voting on Sunday, October 20th.
