1. Smoke and fire seen behind tents in the backyard of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital
STORYLINE:
Loud explosions, fire and smoke were seen in the backyard of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, following a strike near the health unit in the early hours of Monday.
The strike hit tents that caught fire causing panic among dozens of people.
AP footage showed people carrying injured and others rushing near the building of the hospital while the sound of explosions continued from time to time.
At the time of the strike, the emergency services of the hospital were receiving bodies and injured from an earlier bombardment in Nuseirat, that killed about 20 people on Sunday night, according to the hospital records.
