Gaza update: Israeli strike on shelter kills dozens, 1.8 million living in extreme hunger | DW News

The Hamas-controlled Gaza health ministry says an Israeli strike has killed at least 28 and injured more than a hundred others in Jabaliya in the north.
The strike hit a school that had been converted to a shelter for the displaced. The Israeli military said it targeted a command center run by Hamas and Islamic Jihad inside the school.
More than a year into the war between Israel and Hamas, aid agencies are warning that Gaza is still facing a high risk of famine with more than 1.8 million experiencing extreme hunger.
