So as you can see the walls on the floor. All this, this was a garage door right there where you’re standing. And this was all walled in. Now it’s all open. There was no walls. STORYLINE:
People in Florida are still reeling from the devastation that Hurricane Milton has caused.
Grove City resident Osvaldo Cruz is picking up the pieces of what’s left of him home, days after the storm hit Florida’s coast.
The Category 3 hurricane tore the walls of his house and garage down, leaving it exposed and damaged.
"Total destruction, its in chaos," said Osvaldo Cruz.
Cruz also said that he had another property next door that was "totally demolished" by Milton.
Many Floridians are struggling to clean up the damage from Milton and Hurricane Helene, which caused massive flooding and devastation only a few weeks ago.
Milton killed at least 10 people after it made landfall as a Category 3 storm, tearing across central Florida, flooding barrier islands and spawning deadly tornadoes.
Officials say the toll could have been worse if not for the widespread evacuations.
